Rhys Chocolate is the captain of the Seaside Cruiser, and lives at the Sea Breeze Cape. He travelled to many different places on the cruiser when he was young. He gives tours of famous places around the Sea Breeze Cape, and tells lots of good stories to the visitors.
Patricia Chocolate lives at the Sea Breeze Cape and her hobby is snorkelling. She often gives parties on the cruiser. Her husband Rhys gave her a special handmade pearl necklace that she wears everyday.
The figure can wear both the helmet and the roller skates. The length of the strap on the helmet can be adjusted. The backpack can be opened and closed to hold the included flask. The bag can also be worn by the figure.
What all is included in the Sylvanian Families Cycle and Skate Set?
And here is Rosalind Pookie Panda's best friend, Ralph Walnut wearing the skates too! They're having a fun time on a sunny afternoon in Sylvania. Aren't you glad to see they're setting a good example and wearing their helmets?

]]>Mother Barbara Dale is well known throughout Sylvania for her freshly-popped popcorn with delicious toppings. She loads up her trusty tricycle with everything she could need and pedals off into the village to sell her wares. One of the most likely places you’ll find her is at the Baby Amusement Park, where the babies can’t wait to try some of her tasty snacks.

Features:
The Waddle Penguins: Ozzie, Sapphire and the Penguin triplets
It's been 16 years since the last Penguin Family release, which were the De Burgh Penguin Family, released by Flair in 2007.
Here's a little by way of introduction to the new Waddle Penguin Family (2023)
Ozzie Waddle loves to eat! He eats and eats until he's all full up and his belly feels heavy, and then he sits down and falls asleep.
Sapphire Waddle loves dancing on the ice. Her dancing is very graceful and elegant.
It takes a lot to upset Kippie Waddle. He's a slow walker and good at sitting still. But show him an ice cream and he'll waddle over as fast as his feet will carry him!
And then there's the twins: Pearl and Rocky who come in a set with their own little cart and aviator goggles
Pearl Waddle loves to take baths. She even sings into the shower head like it's a microphone! Rocky Waddle loves to climb up high and then jump down. He keeps climbing up too high, and everyone has to rush to stop him from hurting himself.
We will update here when these new sets arrive in. Australia's estimated arrival date for new families is around mid March 2023.

In the past the ponies and horses in Sylvania were well-loved, but didn't have the most illustrious of occupations. Paid with hay, apples and a rub on the nose, they willingly pulled along market carts, gypsy caravans or icecream carts, despite being saddled with most of the daily burdens in village life. They were the means of transport for the more enviable Sylvanians, dressed in their best market day clothes, who rode around in pony traps.
Relegated to a lesser status than the job-holding, well-clothed, house-dwelling Sylvanian townsfolk, the Sylvanian horses and ponies never complained. They were happy to help, use their strength and size, bearing the burden for townsfolk, as was the expected social order in the Sylvania of their era. Other Sylvanians used their talent, intelligence and wit to hold down important positions in the village, perhaps to become mayor, or postman, or the village baker, while the Sylvanian pony contentedly lowered his head, pulled his weight and placidly submitted to the directions of his owner.
Not only have we been spoilt with the Sylvanian Families 35th anniversary re-release of the Buttercup Cow Family and the Spotter Meerkat Family, who were great favourites from the past, but we've also seen the reintroduction of other favourites.
A set featuring the Duck triplets from Duck Family, the winners of the Sylvanian Families Election 2020!
Includes the Duck triplets in pastel-colour baby bonnets, plus a baby carriage for them to ride around in. All three triplets can fit into the baby carriage
The 35th anniversary re-release of the Meerkat Family previously introduced in the UK Sylvanian Families range. The set contains four figures and they are dressed much the same as the earlier years release.
The Sheep Family set features the Sheep family, who took third place in the Sylvanian Family Election 2020, in all-new outfits!
The Sylvanian Families Brightfield Goat Family won 2nd place in the favourite figure voting competition. And here they are in 2022. Dressed differently, and Mr Brightfield has changed occupation and now needs his spectacles. He also no longer has a beard. So, a little different, but still the much-loved Goat family!
]]>The 35th anniversary re-release of the Friesian Cow Family previously introduced in the UK Sylvanian Families range. The Butterfield Cow Family are much the same and haven't changed at bit. Even the same clothing!

Tiny Oz, the three part series, sees comedian Jimmy Rees and miniature artist JoAnne Bouzianis-Sellick guide audiences through miniature recreations of little-known, yet very replica-worthy moments in Australian history.
Taking up the challenge, are many local miniaturists and modellers throughout Australia, who build tiny replicas, showing pieces of Australian history. In each episode a barely known moment in Australian history is captured and replicated in miniature scale.
Some of the historical events recreated include the pearling town of Broome, the first successful balloon ascent in Adelaide, Saturday 24 June 1871, and the epic 1916 replication of the arrival of hundreds of exotic animals being escorted sown Sydney's Macquarie Street to the Taronga zoo.
Tiny Oz has introduced many to world of miniatures as a craft or a hobby. There are already a considerable number of miniaturists in Australia. For some of these artisans they are making a living from creating such things as miniature food sets, unique bedding for dollhouses, shabby chic furniture and much more.

There's father, Egbert Highbranch
Mother, Olive Highbranch
Brie Highbranch (in a red romper suit) and boy brother, Bran in orange.
The Sylvanian Families Giraffe famly are very relaxed. Egbert, the giraffe dad, is the epitome of peace and gentleness. He often forgets that he is very tall and bumps his head. He also likes old things and knows how to take care of them - he has a lot of tools from the old days.
The twins look quite mischievous don't they? Good thing Mum and Dad have a long neck and don't miss much - so there's not too much they can get away with!!
The curious twins come with binoculars and a camera.
Little Bran loves taking pictures with the camera his dad gave him. He wants to be as tall as his dad so that he can see far away and take beautiful pictures from above. Brie, the other baby giraffe, loves to look into the distance through the binoculars her father gave her. He likes to sit on his mother's head to see even further. Her brother, who is a year older, takes pictures and she pastes them into her diary and describes them.
The Spotter Meerkat family has always been a favourite. Initially released in 2010, these have long been a popular family. They were voted as one of the favourite families in the Sylvanian Families 35th anniversary voting competition in 2020. So, here they are again in limited edition in 2021.
Here's a little stroll down memory lane, to remember the first Spotter Meerkat Family from 2010
Their names and story:
A little about the family...:
• Harry Spotter is the most alert and watchful - and it's a good job too as he has to check that there are no wildfires in the forest. As this vital role demands his total concentration, the other Sylvanians have learnt not to take it personally if Harry ignores them completely.
• Beatrix Spotter on the other hand is always warm and friendly. She loves children and is often babysitting as many as twenty at a time. She bakes them fairy cakes and reads them fairy stories - and she counts them every fifteen minutes to make sure they're all still there.
• Alfie Spotter always has his head in a book. He often gets so absorbed in one of his adventure stories that he regularly forgets what day it is and has been known to turn up for school on a Saturday.
• Gail Spotter would much rather go for a long walk in the Sylvanian forest than read a book. She particularly enjoys strolling along by the river and picking wild flowers for her mother
In 2010 the Spotter Meerkats were quite an extended family. There were the Grandparents as well as a set of triplets. The 2021 Limited edition set is only the family of 4. We haven't seen any meerkat babies on the horizon yet, but who knows, Epoch (the maker's of Sylvanian Families) can always surprise us at any time! Some fairly amazing re-released baby figures have turned up in the Sylvanian Families Blind Bag sets lately
The Spotter Meerkat family were released around the same time as the Sylvanian Families Field View Mill, so became the obvious choice to often live in the Mill as their home. Of course, with Meerkats being curious, and ever observant, that telescope would have been well used!
Meerkat triplets Penelope, Peregrine & Prudence always loved to spend the day with their grandma. They're having a picnic lunch in Primrose Park
It is pandemonium at meerkat mother Beatrix Spotter's house! Her triplets, Prudence, Penelope and Perigrine are having play dates with their friends and there are babies EVERYWHERE!
Can you spot the meerkat babies?
Alfie Meerkat is always rather a good example at brushing his teeth morning and night.
The Meerkat Family are visiting the Grandparent Meerkats. They always love playing in their Grandparents Conservatory
The Conservatory was always the Grandparent Meerkats favourite place to spend their day. Cups of tea and relaxing - until the Grandkids came for a visit, that was. But, oh, they loved to see them all.
Can you spot the Meerkat children on this Sylvanian School Class expedition?
This picture gives a great idea as to which other Families were around at the same time in 2010.
Well, that's our little visit to the Sylvanian Families Meerkat Family of the past. Now maybe you know them a little better. And the exciting news is that the Family of 4 Meerkats are available again!
