A little bit about this family...
These are based on the Shibu Inu dog breed.

The Shiba Inu is a Japanese breed of hunting dog. A small, agile dog that copes very well with mountainous terrain and hiking trails.
Do you see the resemblance?

There is a Mum, Dad, Sister and baby boy in the family.
Here is their Sylvanian biography:
Father Lance Caramel, like the rest of his family, is a huge fan of the great outdoors and a keen twitcher. He especially enjoys birdwatching in the forest and trying to identify all the different breeds he sees, writing them all down in his twitcher’s notebook. He has a lovely pair of brass binoculars which his father gave him as a gift when he was just a boy.

Mother Vivian Caramel
is never happier than when she’s roaming the hills outside of Sylvania. Hiking is her favourite hobby, and she loves to take in the view from the mountain paths above the village. She’s even compiling a book of her favourite paths and walks to encourage other Sylvanians to take up hiking too!

Sister Carlie Caramel loves being out and about. When the family make plans for the weekend, she can’t sleep the night before as she is always so excited about their upcoming adventures. When she grows up, she wants to go travelling, seeing the world in her very own campervan.

Baby Brother Justin Caramel likes spending time with his big sister, and she often takes him out for the day when their parents are busy. His favourite thing to do is search for acorns amongst the big oak trees near their house. He can get very absorbed in the search, and often doesn’t hear his sister calling out to him as he’s concentrating so hard!
Do you think you'll be adding this family to your collection?
